In 2022, while I was still a college student, I became deeply fascinated by the art of preserving nature. The idea that flowers and leaves could outlive their fleeting beauty inspired me to explore the world of resin preservation. With curiosity as my guide, I invested in resin and crafting materials, teaching myself through patience, experimentation, and countless hours of practice.

What began as a personal passion soon blossomed into something greater. My handcrafted creations found their way into the hearts of many, and exhibiting my work at Mall of Travancore became an encouraging milestone that affirmed my belief in the emotional value of preservation.

Although life led me to pause my creative journey for a time, the vision never faded. In 2026, I returned with renewed purpose and founded MARVIK & ADOR with a broader vision, to create more than beautiful keepsakes. I envisioned a studio where every commission is deeply personal, every design is thoughtfully bespoke, and every customer is heard with genuine care and understanding.

Today, our purpose extends beyond preserving flowers and memories. We continually explore new techniques, meaningful designs, and innovative ways to transform nature’s finest treasures into timeless heirlooms. OUR PROCESS

Thoughtful Selection

Our journey begins with nature itself. We personally explore gardens and natural landscapes in search of remarkable flowers, foliage, feathers, and naturally fallen butterflies that embody exceptional beauty and character. Every specimen is ethically gathered and chosen for its individuality.

When clients entrust us with their own treasured botanicals or sentimental keepsakes, each element is carefully examined to determine the most appropriate preservation approach.

Preservation & Preparation

Every material possesses its own unique characteristics and therefore deserves an equally thoughtful method of preservation.

Botanical specimens are individually preserved using silica drying, traditional air drying, or botanical press preservation, depending on their species, structure, and moisture content. This delicate stage may take several weeks or, in some cases, months, allowing each specimen to retain its natural beauty before it is ready for resin encapsulation.

Breast milk undergoes a specialised process of stabilisation and controlled drying before it becomes suitable for preservation. This stage also requires time and precision to ensure its long-term integrity.

Sentimental inclusions such as first hair, umbilical cord, cremation ashes, pet fur, whiskers, and feathers generally require a comparatively shorter preparation period. However, each material is individually assessed and prepared with the same level of care, ensuring it is ready for the artistry that follows.

We never hasten this stage, for every moment invested in preparation is essential to creating a keepsake that will endure beautifully for generations.
